Laurie grew up on a dairy farm in rural Minnesota and that is where her love for animals began. She attended the University of Minnesota, St. Paul and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.
Laurie has been a member of the staff here at Rockford Veterinary Clinic since Dr. Purtilo established the practice in the Rockford Mall location. She has enjoyed the opportunity of getting to know the clients and their pets, along with the variety, challenges and the rewards of working in the field of veterinary medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Laurie keeps busy with her two daughters, Rachel and Taylor and their cat, Burt. Her interests include gardening, biking, walking and just being outdoors.
